"A Gratitude Attitude"
-by Marsha D. Egan, CPCU, ACC

Dale Carnegie once said, "expect ingratitude."
Isn't that a sad commentary? It's been said that people care more about their own headache than whether you live or die. Wow...

What he was really saying was that when someone says "thank you," most times, they've really made an effort.

Even though appreciation is easy, it's not done enough, is it? We can change that.

On this Thanksgiving Eve, let's assess our own "gratitude attitudes." Some of us think it, but don't say it; others don't even think it. Let's think it AND say it. Often. It's easy. It doesn't take much time. And it leaves others feeling appreciated.

Here's to your GREAT Gratitude Attitude!
