Honest Disagreements Can Promote You...

Leaders share their opinions.
They don't agree to be agreeable.
They respectfully share honest disagreements
For the benefit of the future.

"Honest disagreement is often a good sign of progress."
--Ghandi

10 SECOND REALITY CHECK
Do you agree in order to avoid conflict?
Do you express your opinion, even if it is not popular?
Do you do it respectfully, and thoughtfully?
Do you value the opinions of others?

"The greatest mistake is trying to be more agreeable than
you can be." --Walter Bagehot

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Expressing your opinion shows you think independently.
It lets others know you have confidence.
Sharing opinions and ideas creates synergy, and enables progress.

"If two men agree on everything, you may be sure that only one of them is doing the thinking."
--Lyndon B. Johnson

SO, WHAT WILL YOU DO DIFFERENTLY?
Understand that your thoughts have value.
Use your confidence to share your opinions.
Don't be afraid to have the minority opinion.
Share your ideas respectfully and professionally.

"When two men in business always agree, one of them
is unnecessary." --William Wrigley Jr.

PARTING SHOT:

"I don't necessarily agree with everything I say."
--Marshall McLuhan

Huh????!!!!

Have an opinion-filled week!
